The C3 C4 Corvette Undercar Automatic Shift Control Harness is plugged into the existing factory harness under the car at the transmission, so there is absolutely no splicing required.

This handy little harness allows you to control the converter lockup by using a small toggle switch, which can be conveniently mounted inside the center console. You can place the switch in the "on" position for in-town driving or racing, and in the "off" position for normal highway speeds in order to regain peak fuel economy.
