The C3 Corvette deck bonding strip is located at the absolute rear end of the rear deck. After time, these bonding strips become frail and worn causing a lack of support for the Corvette's rear quarter panels.
These bonding strips are manufactured for the early Corvette design. Once installed, this piece bonds the deck to the taillight panel and extends from one corner of the taillight panel to the other.
These are not only useful in repairing your Corvette, they are also useful in renovations/restorations. This driver side rear deck bonding strip has been manufactured to the original OE standards, which adds authenticity to any Corvette and is an added bonus to enthusiasts who prefer the original, "Classic" feel.
