Anytime you need to look under your Corvettes hood, it's important to keep it from falling just as soon as its opened. Keep your hood open and supported the way it should be, so you can continue with your restoration project.

This Corvette Telescope Hood Support Strut is a direct replacement for your 1988-1996 and is an upgrade for your 1986-1987 Corvette. Because it's an upgrade, a lower bracket is required for complete installation. You must use the original outer sleeve with this support strut.
