Don't put higher wattage bulbs into your Corvette to get a brighter headlight. Instead use one of these C5 Corvette 1997-2004 Headlight Relay Kits.

When you put a higher wattage bulb into the socket, it causes more damage to your wiring harness. These relays will make your head lamps bright white again by turning on the low beams in conjunction with the high beams when your high beams are switched on. This is known as a Quad-Beam Head Light setup.
