The 2005-2007 C6 Corvette (LS2) Snake Charmer Intake is a heavy development of the original C-5 B2 unit. Vararam used information gathered from 12 special B2 Race units that were constructed for racing only.
These units feature many different internal aerodynamic packages and filter combinations, to maximize peak CFM and time to peak manifold pressure. They have emphasized too many customers and racing teams that its not just peak pressure but the time to peak manifold pressure that we look at, this occurs at shift recovery, down in the meat of the power curve. This helps for shooting off of corners, general drivability and overall peak performance; this shows up in the form of torque.
